Pjotr

Pjotr is a socially engaged rapper frequently heard on the Dutch radio station SlamFM with his raps in which he discusses current events. In the spring of 2019, the single ‘Zonneschijn’ shot up the Spotify ‘Viral 50 NL’ and was streamed millions of times. This was the starting signal of a promising career. The EP ‘Goed Nieuws’ landed in the ‘Dutch Album Top 100’, and Pjotr became the first artist to sign with the label ‘Lieve Jongens’ owned by his good friend Snelle. Right after, the two embarked on the sold-out ’24/7 tour’ across the country.

While 2020 was a disappointing year for many, it brought forth great opportunities for Pjotr. Every other week, he rapped the news together in the popular weekly summaries on Radio538. The ‘Kleine Wereld’ EP with the hit single ‘Verliezen Met Jullie’ rose above 10 million streams and was immediately followed by the creative ‘Kleine Wereld Tour’ in the open air. Pjotr’s first 101 Barz session circulated the internet and trended on YouTube for weeks. With his impactful lyrics, unique vocal tone, and creative approach, Pjotr has managed to secure a special place.
